Our commitment to Safety is evident by our industry low EMR of 0.79 for the year 2000. We will continue to work towards improving this by conducting both scheduled and random field SAFETY AUDITS to provide our employees and customers with a SAFE work practice producing long-term healthy environments for our dedicated employees. Furnace and Tube Service, Inc. has a full time in-house Safety department working to ensure progress in these areas of interest. QUALITY AT WORK Along with our commitment to Safety, FTS has a full-time staff of QA/QC qualified inspectors that monitor our shop and field efforts along with their dedication to documentation and compliance.
Rockwell Hardness Testing & Inspections being conducted inside Furnace and Tube Service tube bending shop PROCEDURES, SPECIALTY WELDING TEST & TRACKING Furnace and Tube Service has 287+ qualified welding procedures being used on over 600+ exotic alloys. All FTS welders are tested using a special "Restricted Weld Test Method" designed by Furnace and Tube Service. Afterwards, every welder's test results are entered into a continuity log via database for tracking purposes. This unique method of testing and tracking allows FTS to find, utilize and keep some of the BEST SPECIALTY & CODE WELDERS in the country.
After job completion, FTS reviews with each customer the complete log book of findings, job activities, (which includes: safety audits, etc.) and QA/QC inspections. Our Customer Satisfaction Survey Form is now being adopted by some of our customers due to the easy to review format and its ability to quantify the job review analysis.
