FTS Systems Analysis / Evaluation

Furnace and Tube Service's knowledge of process heat systems allow us to complete a detailed analysis of your boiler and/or process furnace/heater. This mechanical and operational evaluation will identify the most cost effective solution to your process heat needs.

After the complete Mass & Energy Balance analysis, FTS designs, installs and commissions projects to reduce NOx, CO, and particulate emissions. Projects include: complete burner evaluation & tuning, installation of low and/or ultra-low NOx/low CO burners, flue gas recirculation (FGR) systems, as well as innovative combustion system improvements.

FTS has a complete inventory of Systems Evaluation equipment. Using our Thermography camera, our SA Team can show you where your equipment "Hot Spots" are located and help in the evaluation of the root cause. Years of experience coming up with "Solutions for these Problems" allow you to use FTS as the single source / TURNKEY SERVICE provider for your heat process needs further reducing expenses.

5. Efficiency Evaluations & Upgrades

F.T.S. develops and executes efficiency upgrade projects that saves our customers millions of dollars. Projects include economizers, air preheaters, and combined cycle heat recovery systems installations. A complete M&E balance along with an emissions analysis will determine whether the combustion process or the heat transfer characteristics of the system can be cost effectively improved.

6. Root Cause Analysis

Root cause analysis is the key to increased reliability and optimization of operations. Furnace & Tube Service's experience in process heat systems affords our customers a complete system analysis in order to determine root cause of failures, efficiency bottlenecks, etc. A report is generated pointing out the root cause, its repair and solutions to avoid the problem in the future. Coupled with this, our Account Manager's working with our Systems Analysis team will quantify, document and report all associated cost savings via our Value-Added Savings report.
